Job Description:

Our laser processing client in San Marcos is looking for a Shipping & Receiving specialist for their growing laser service house. We are looking for a candidate who has with previous experience with packing small fragile parts, dealing with UPS, FedEx, etc Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday Payrate: $18/hour Primary Duties: -Assist in receiving incoming materials from all shipping agencies and hand carries - keep lot information intact on materials -Follow proper unpacking/packing requirements/restrictions. Parts cannot be packed loose in boxes, must use packing foam or bubble wrap to firmly pack boxes. - -Verify counts of materials with shipping paperwork -Distribute received materials to proper departments, White copy of receiver and accompanying customer paperwork to Sales. Assist in preparing outgoing jobs for shipping to include: - Lot separation, accurate lot counts, following procedures for specific wrapping/packing of materials, updating of procedures for wrapping/packing of specific materials and customer requirements, meet daily shipping deadlines for the different shipping methods, generate shipping labels, pack all required paperwork, interact with Sales/Accounting departments for invoice information as needed.
