About the Job: As a Vet Tech in the Internal Medicine department you will be responsible to:Participate in endoscopic procedures, including obtaining biopsy specimens and maintaining equipmentPerform anesthetic monitoring including intubation/extubation of patients, monitoring vitals, and troubleshooting of machinesAssist during ultrasound proceduresTake digital radiographsObtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testingProvide client education on common internal medicine diseases (i.e. immune mediated diseases, kidney disease and failure, diabetes, and cushings).Discuss patient discharge instructionsPerform follow up callsShift Info: 4, 10 hours shifts, includes SaturdaysAbout You:Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting required.
