We'd love to hear from you!Position Summary: The Childbirth Educator is responsible for providing basic prenatal, birth preparation, lactation, newborn care and parenting information following established protocols and curriculum in individual, couple and small group settings.The Childbirth Educator also assists in the development and implementation of new or updated childbirth education programs.Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent.Two (2) years teaching experience in childbirth education or related area.Knowledge of prenatal care, pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, lactation, newborn care and family planning.Proficiency working in an electronic health record system and Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
