Currently, we are seeking an Assembler 1 -for our Industrial Production department. Position PurposeWorking in the Industrial Production Department, this position will be tasked to perform manufacturing electro/mechanical functions as designated by the job description below.Essential Job Functions (primary duties and outputs of position)

Preparing and cleaning parts prior to assembly.Using job orders or other documentation, perform light mechanical assembly work that is typically or moderate complexity and requires fitting, alignment and adjustment of components.Perform basic functional test of completed assembly including dielectric and insulation resistance tests.Rework of non- conforming production assemblies.Maintain production records including computer moves on job orders.Perform routine daily cleanup and other duties as assigned.Safety
Follow safe work practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident.Quality
Employees are responsible to understand and support the quality policy and the appropriate elements of the quality management system for their areas of work, reduce, eliminate, and prevent quality deficiencies including escapes.Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities related to product, process, and quality system.All employees have the responsibility and authority to identify quality deficiencies, elevate any concerns for action within or related to our quality system and processes.Communication
Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Maintain effective and constructive working relationships with others both internally and externally.Prepare effective reports and presentation of departmental information.Education/Work Experience Requirements
1-2 years' experience in electro-mechanical assembly or repair of electro mechanical devices, instruments or units.Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools to perform repetitive assembly or repeating functions in performing test, potting and assembly operations.Able to read and understand English and follow general procedures and instruction in, drawings or wiring diagrams.Able to follow instructions and procedures exactly, make few minor decisions if they follow an established procedure.Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production or manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.Knowledge and experience operating hand-held multi-meters and other basic test instrumentation.High School diploma, GED.Physical/Travel RequirementsThis position requires sitting 70-80% of the time. Minimal walking, bending, carrying of trays up to 20-25% of the time. - Work may be performed while looking through a fixed magnifying lamp. - Manual dexterity is required for grasping tools such as soldering iron, screwdrivers, wire cutters, wire strippers, tweezers, and pliers. - Light data input using the computer system. - Minimal lifting of product up to 10 lbs. -Pay Range: - $15.50 to $17.25 per hour.Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.These duties may be modified or changed at any time at the sole discretion of management either orally or in writing.
