Job Description:

Machine Shop in San Marcos is seeking Machine Operator for their 3rd shift 12AM to 8:30AM Monday - Friday.Responsibilities: Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirementsStudy and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications or Job Travelers to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations and setup requirementsDetect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine, within capabilities, controls or control media as required to ensure quality of production. Report all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisorCommunicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other personnel for assignments and to resolve process, machining, or quality issuesStartup and Shutdown of the shop equipment Responsibilities: 2-3 years of machine operator experience, laser cutters preferred Knowledge interpreting drawings, manuals, specifications or Job Travelers is helpfulAbility to troubleshoot equipment Flexibility to work over time hours

Pay: $18 DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday 12am - 8:30am The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
