Summary:The Community Program Coordinator is responsible for
coordinating and assisting in the planning, developing, and
implementing of current Community Engagement program objectives.
The position is responsible for program coordination, identifying
resources, partnerships, and community programs that will support
current Community Engagement programs. The Community Program
Coordinator will also keep program records/files, perform data
entry and a wide variety of program activities as needed.Essential
Functions:1. Develop program education content for program
participants, including program plans, Power Point presentations,
supplemental materials, engagement activities and additional
resources and seek collaboration with knowledge experts both
internally and externally.2. Works with identified community
partners to connect program participants to collaboration
opportunities to achieve project goals.3. Support the program
participants by developing and implementing activities to
successfully achieve project based outcomes while also implementing
data collection activities and report submissions.4. Ability to
work with and collaborate with volunteers, interns, program
participants, and TrueCare staff.5. Establishes connections with
program participants by providing mentorship and creating a safe
space where program participants feel comfortable, understood, and
supported.6. Work with program staff and supervisor to plan program
components (i.e. recruitment, project activities, plans, etc.).7.
Identify community resources including but not limited to substance
use, physical and mental health, and other resources deemed
necessary for participants, their families, and the schools that
participate in the program as needed.8. Provide guidance and
support to assist program participants identify community needs to
set and achieve project goals.9. Attend community activities such
as community forums, town halls, community meetings, conferences
and school functions focused on providing TrueCare resources,
promoting and progressing project goals.10. Supports participants
in conducting community presentations and other needed outreach
activities to reach project specified populations in North San
Diego and Riverside County.11. Maintains inventory of program
materials necessary to conduct projects cope of work and to supply
program participants and other TrueCare staff as needed materials,
engagement activities and additional resources and seek
collaboration with knowledge experts both internally and
externally.Qualifications:Associate's Degree in healthcare, human
development, political science, sociology, criminal justice or
related fields or equivalent work experience.At least one (1) year
experience in healthcare, or related field performing programming,
education, case work, youth services and/or customer service to
diverse populations.Knowledge of program development or
implementation.Availability to work regularly outside of normal
shifts (i.e.,8am to 5pm).Public speaking, computer literacy,
including internet navigation and research skills, and proficiency
with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and

range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be
