Through these partnerships, Hatch provides a diverse array of consumer and small business credit and depository products and services.

The Program Analyst supports all aspects of acquisition, implementation, and management of the Bank's lending and depository partnerships. The Program Analyst works closely with relationship managers to provide ongoing oversight and supervision of strategic partnerships. This includes supporting all elements of the partnership - operations, compliance, finance, accounting, legal, marketing, credit, etc. The Program Analyst interacts with each department within the Bank for the programs to which they are assigned.


The Program Analyst supports the needs of the external and internal stakeholders in the management of Hatch's fintech partnerships.

This position reports directly to the President, and on a day-to-day basis, will work independently, collaboratively (with Hatch team members, third-party fintechs, and/or Hatch's critical vendors), or as otherwise instructed by the President, on specific duties which may include the following based on departmental and bank priorities:

Support relationship managers in all aspects necessary to manage and oversee assigned fintech strategic partnerships (quantitative analysis, forecasting, project management, reporting, etc.) Manage and/or support various vendor relationships including but not limited to card networks (Visa, MasterCard), electronic payments networks, and capital markets activities Be a project manager for relevant projects involving new features, integrating with processors or networks, launching new products and relationships - keeping track of the tasks and milestones and making sure that the project continues forward Coordinate, track, and manage the review and approval of all strategic partners' program-related materials, including decisioning guidelines, policies, procedures, funds flows, legal documents, and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) Be a secondary point of contact / back up relationship manager for each assigned partner Construct economic models of various size and complexities for Bank Management review to determine strategic partner feasibility and financial performance Support Bank management during regulatory exams, internal audits, and ongoing monitoring Support the business development process and acquisition of new strategic partnerships Support the Implementation process and on-boarding of new strategic partnerships Perform ad hoc analytical and operational requests for various Bank departments as needed Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal with repetitive motion. Physical requirements of this position are considered sedentary work involving preparing documentation, preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and resolving inquiries. Some amount of mobility in order to access files, attend meetings, both on and off site, and perform property inspections is necessary. The employee is expected to converse with internal and external customers and exchange information.

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge in and experience with financial products and services (commercial/consumer lending, credit cards, consumer deposits, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet modeling, reporting, and analysis (actually)
  • Ability and desire to solve unique and challenging problems with technology, data, and automation
  • Skilled at reducing complex abstract problems to clear, attainable solutions
  • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences
  • Skilled at building and managing internal and external relationships (including customer service and vendor management)
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Confident in using and understanding data reporting and analytics concepts and tools
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with priorities that shift and change
  • Exceptionally customer-focused - especially regarding how technology affects the customer and how to use information to innovate and build strong customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop relationships with key internal and external shareholders
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/hours as the need arises (deadlines, problems, conflicts, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to key vendors and fintech strategic partners as the need arises

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in and experience with fintech products and services
  • Experience supporting relationship management and business development
  • Familiar with SQL (tables, queries, views, etc.)
  • Competence in reporting tools like Tableau and/or MS Power BI
