What we're looking for:Winchester Interconnect is currently seeing a Spooler Operator. The Spooler Operator is responsible for preparing material for cable manufacturing and distribution of orders. The spooling process is to identify, by visual inspection, the quality of cable and conductors by spooling from one spool to another. Visual inspection of material and cutting length based on customer requirement. Spooling may require MTM (machine training manual) Spark Test to ensure it passes voltage requirements.Job Responsibilities:* Operation of spooling and/or coiling machine to visually inspect the appearance of the cable.* Measure the diameter of the cable.* Identify conductors AWG.* Fill out tags/labels, forms, and traveler.* Cut to length based on work order requirements.* Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Criteria for Success:* High school diploma or equivalent.* At Least 1-2 years experience working on Production machines* Reads and writes English well enough to read work order and fill out paperwork.* Math skills and use of a calculatorTechnical Expertise:* N/AWhy choose Winchester Interconnect?Winchester Interconnect is a leading global provider of interconnect solutions that help fuel the ever-changing electronics industry.
