Ref ID: 00240-0011656533Classification: Accounting ClerkCompensation: $19.00 to $21.00 hourlyAn Accounting Clerk position is available through Accountemps, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). If you're interested, please email your resume to hollis.wilson@accountemps.com How you will make an impact - General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects - Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers - Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing - Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources - Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, process daily invoices/credit, and help with collection of past due balance - Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes - Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as requiredJob Requirements:- Less than one year of experience required - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data - Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds - Knowledge of customer invoices - Numeric data entry experience - Proficiency in Credit Card Charges - Credit Card Payments experience - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferredAccountemps, a Robert Half Company, matches skilled accounting and finance professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
