ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 30 days:

Understands the requirements of the company to comply with state and federal entities such as export administration, ISO 9000, AS9100 and other areas of corporate compliance

Understands the Company’s Risk Profile, including aspects and nuances of corporate insurance strategies and coverages

Introduced to and familiar with all corporate compliance areas

Introduced to and familiar with all external corporate counsel including: Labor, Patent, Corporate law domestic & international, real estate, business terms and conditions, fiduciary and others

Introduced to and familiar with all existing, company policies

Has reviewed all core business contract performance requirements including but not limited to: terms and conditions, buy/sell agreements, representative/distributor agreements, key service provider agreements, intra business agreements and new customer contracts

Within the first 60 days and ongoing:

Has become familiar with all facets of Operational Management, including Legal/Compliance and Information Services

Has assumed full responsibility for company risk management as the Director of Administration including insurance coverages and monitoring safe work practices together with the safety manager

Within the first 90 days and going forward ,

Has become familiar with all current client and departmental projects and begun to take ownership of 100% of contract reviews and projects

Has begun improving and creating best practices for operational efficiency

Has begun building, training and developing teams in a flexible, responsive and ambitious work environment

Is familiar and understands all company property and lease conditions and performance requirements

Has a full understanding of all Company Terms and Conditions for sales and procurement and is supporting complex contract negotiation

By the 6th month and ongoing:

Has observed, learned, evaluated, critiqued and designed and/or improved any needed service procedures, policies and standards

Is serving as corporate Director and acting secretary of the parent company Fluid Components International and may be further assigned additional corporate capacities in our foreign enterprises

Is a Fiduciary and member of the 401K Administrative Committee along with the CFO and CEO

By the 12th month and ongoing:

Has full ownership of Operations Strategic & Executive Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Staff Management/Development and Financial Management

Is serving in a corporate capacity for FA China Holding Company and FCI Measurement and Control Technology (Beijing) Ltd

Provided management of all large-scale facility investments and projects

Education, Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Management or a related field

JD in Business Law or comparable education or experience

10+ years of progressive experience in Manufacturing, Contract Negotiations, and Project Management

At least 5+ years of experience directly managing multidisciplinary teams in multiple independent departments within the manufacturing industry

IT experience is preferred

Private sector experience in aerospace, nuclear or medical, as well as, ISO9001, is desired

International experience is a huge plus

Current incumbent is retiring and has been responsible for managing an experienced team of managers as well as for performing “first hand” work in the following areas of the business: Legal Liaison, Risk Management/Insurance and in-house counsel (Self) Information Systems including hardware/software: (supported by Manager) Facilities Management: (supported by Manager) Quality Assurance: (supported by Manager)

The successful candidate will have experience in at least two of these above fields and may be groomed over time to take on additional responsibilities and levels within the organization.
