responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and
outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment •
Responsibilities: • Receives items and verifies packing list with
purchase order. Unloads vehicles and accepts delivery. Stores items
in designated area. Processes backordered items. Routes received
items to departments. Assembles, packs, and labels shipment orders.
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet necessary
specifications. Assists with physical inventory and cycle counts.
Operates tier lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from
shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Picks
orders physically and electronically. Assists in other areas of the
Distribution Center as needed. Maintains bin locations of supply
items. Main point of contact for all supply tracking inquiries. Job
Requirements • : High school diploma, general education degree
(GED) or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret
documents such as purchase orders, bill of lading, and packing
slips. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and
small group situations to customers, and other employees of the
organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to
deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
