Job Description:
SourcePro Search is conducting a search for a Senior Corporate
Paralegal in San Diego, CA with a top-rated law firm. This role
requires at least 6 years of paralegal experience in Corporate law.
What You'll Do: Your day will be spent performing a range of
substantive case, matter, or entity-related duties by supporting
efforts between attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, opposing
legal counsel, and other parties. This will include developing,
monitoring, and updating closing and other books and other
documents. You will also be responsible for researching, preparing,
and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of
Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms,
and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of
documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental
agencies, etc., including all closing documentation. You will also
develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists. What
You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate 6
years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Corporate practice group
in a law firm or professional services environment Public and
private company experience Carta experience Section 16 experience
Blue Sky experience Experience preparing and filing a variety of
corporate legal documents (Articles of Incorporation/Organization,
amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents,
closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or
certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual
reports) Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Large
firm experience Experience managing data rooms and matter files on
document management systems Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong attention
to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work
