National Systems Programs (NSP) software capability is seeking
Associate and Mid-Level Software Engineers in El Segundo,
California and Seal Beach, California.The selected candidate will
perform full stack development using the AWS infrastructure. The
ideal candidate has experience working across the tech stack with a
solid understanding of software architecture, infrastructure
tooling, and engineering fundamentals. The candidate will
collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders to design
and implement scalable software solutions, ensure engineering
excellence, and achieve program objectives.Position
Responsibilities:
- Supports the development, test, and maintenance of web
applications that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation
standards
- Assists with review, analysis, and translation of customer
requirements into initial design of software products
- Supports development, maintenance, enhancement, and
optimization of software products and functionalities for systems
integrations
- Supports development, documentation, and maintenance of
architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for
software products
- Participates in the agile software development lifecycle
including planning, reviews, and supporting customer meetings
- Supports debugging and resolution of issues identified to
ensure reliability and efficiency of software products
- Participates in handling user inquiries, troubleshooting
technical issues, and analyze user feedback
- Supports implementation of current and emerging technologies,
tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software
development
- Supports development, establishment, monitoring, and
improvement of software processes, tools, and key performance
metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry
benchmarks
- Supports execution and documentation of software research and
development projects
- Assists with software project management activities and
software supplier management functions
- Supports tracking and evaluation of software team and supplier
performance to ensure product and process compliance to project
plans and industry standards.This position requires an active Top
Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that
has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)This
position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will
be required to work onsite at one of the listed location
options.This position offers relocation based on candidate
eligibility. Note: Basic relocation will be offered for eligible
internal candidates.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/
Experience):
- Experience with software development using agile principles and
a structured development process
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and/or Typescript
- 1+ years of experience in PythonPreferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent
combination of education and experience
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience in Infrastructure Tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
Pipelines)
- Experience in building out regression test suitesDrug Free
