Job Description:
Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible
for supporting the HR Department by acting as a liaison to staff by
answering employee and manager questions regarding HR-related
policies and procedures. The Human Resources Coordinator will
communicate, coordinate, and maintain records and logs of status
changes, terminations, performance evaluations, benefits, and new
hires. Other duties may be assigned that relate to separate HR
functions. Essential Functions Provides overall administrative
support to the HR department, including maintaining, processing
documentation and records.Answer general employee questions about
policies and procedures and refer to the appropriate HR staff
member as required.Maintain confidentiality and effectively handle
highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment,
tact, and discretion.Prepare and reconcile reports and analytics to
proactively assess HR and organizational business issues.Process
monthly PPD reporting and data entry.Coordinate timely and accurate
notifications of performance evaluation reminders.Support Sr.
Benefits Coordinator with processing EDD disability claim
forms.Support Employee Health with new hire immunization entry and
Flu clinic.Support Talent Acquisition in the new hire onboarding
process.Audit new hire paperwork and status changes.Assist with
administration of the day-to-day HR department services.Maintain
filing and personnel filesAssist in projects, such as HR
administration, benefits open enrollment, employee communications,
learning & development etc.Job RequirementsAssociate degree in
human resources, office management or related field. Exposure to a
networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like
interface, proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite such as
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AccessNice to Have Knowledge
of commonly used concepts, best practices and procedures within
Human Resources and exposure to Human Resources best practices and
policiesBachelor's degree in human resources administration,
business administration, healthcare administration or related
field.Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center or
other government regulated environment.Licenses May be required to
travel between all NCHS' sites and locations therefore California
Driver's License, proof of insurance and clean driving record
