this party started POSITION SUMMARY: The Kitchen Manager oversees
the daily operations of a restaurant's kitchen, ensuring smooth and
efficient food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality
and safety, and managing kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities:
Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising kitchen staff,
ensuring they are performing their duties effectively and
maintaining a positive work environment. Overseeing food
preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and
adherence to recipes and standards. Managing inventory levels,
ordering food and supplies, and controlling food costs. Maintaining
a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety
regulations, and ensuring proper food storage and handling.
Overseeing the maintenance and proper functioning of kitchen
equipment. Communicating effectively with other restaurant staff,
including front-of-house and management, to ensure smooth
operations and customer satisfaction.
