We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Specialty Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced specialty dental environment. Pay $24–$26 per hour (DOE) Schedule Full time Benefits Medical Dental Retirement Plan Responsibilities Prepare and set up instruments, equipment, and materials for specialty procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards in compliance with regulations Assist the dentist with four-handed dentistry during specialty procedures Support clinical and lab tasks as directed Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory Take and update accurate patient records Assist with patient communication and payment procedures as needed Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of dental instruments, specialty procedures, and sterilization methods Understanding of health and safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks (e.g., coronal polishing) is an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High school diploma required; graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred Additional certifications or specialty training are considered an asset (e.g., OSMA/OA) Required Certifications RDA Specialty experience preferred
