Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: BCLS, NRP required Must-Have: Candidates must be open to floating between like units as needed Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a travel nursing position. This role involves caring for neonates and infants with a variety of conditions. Candidates will be responsible for performing assessments, monitoring vital signs, and providing essential care for newborns. The nurse will assist with procedures, administer medications, and support breastfeeding initiatives. Charting will be done using an electronic medical record system. The registered nurse will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Weekend shifts will be required, equivalent to every other weekend plus two Fridays in a six-week schedule. Candidates should have experience managing various neonatal conditions and procedures. Floating between units may occur, depending on patient volume and needs. Travelers will be expected to adhere to all facility policies and procedures. References from supervisory positions will be required prior to the start.
