People First in Apple Valley Local Team Collaboration: - Join our close-knit team of 8 hospitalists at Providence St. Mary Medical Center. - We are increasing our model with 2 Nurse Practitioners. - Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure a smooth transition of care. - Sound Physicians Intensivists provide support to the hospitalist team. Qualifications: - Acute Care trained nurse practitioners are accepted. Family trained is accepted with hospitalist experience. Candidates must be board-certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining certification. - New graduates are encouraged to apply. Completion of training, board certification, and unrestricted APRN license to be granted before the start of employment. Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling: - 7on/7off days; rounding shift. Key Responsibilities: - You will work in an open ICU environment, though no procedures are required. - This is an admission and cross-coverage position. - The role utilizes Epic EMR, with access to Sound Physicians’ internal informatics platform for seamless patient management.
