which all calibrations are performed in liquids or gases utilizing

we are seeking a lead Electrical Engineer for the New Product
Development Electrical Engineering group. This opportunity requires
an on-site presence as a leader of people.OVERVIEW:Our ideal
candidate will become the lead of the New Product Electrical
Engineering technical team, which consists of other Electronic
Engineers and technicians. At least one and sometimes two new
products are regularly being developed. The NPD electrical team is
responsible for designing the electronics and software. All members
of the team are expected to lend assistance to the other members,
in helping to resolve technical issues.TECHNICAL:FCI products in
current development use ARM based microprocessors. Specifically,
the NXP LPC1857 and STMicroelectronics STM32H743XIH6.New product
requirements include A/C and D/C power supply options and 4-20 mA
outputs. Some products also require relays.New products require a
USB interface and a digital touchscreen display option.New products
may require support for various bus protocols such as HART, Modbus,
and Ethernet.New products must comply with EMC directives and other

RESPONSIBILITIES: At the 6-month mark:
- You will be interacting with other groups within the company
including Test Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical
Writing, Qualification Engineering and Manufacturing as part of
product development and release to manufacturing.
- As a key member of the new product development team, you will
provide input and suggestions for upcoming new products. New
products have an overall cost target depending on options and new
designs must fit in the cost framework.
- You will be expected to be well versed in the new project(s)
and leading its day-to-day activities.
- You will provide technical advice to other engineers within the
group when requested.At the 12-month mark:
- You are expected to have a comfortable understanding the new
product development processes.
- You will be able to provide solutions to problems that are
occurring with new products within the factory and in the
field.
- You are expected to provide technical advice to less
experienced engineers within the group.AS our ideal candidate you
will show exceptional organizational skills to successfully
demonstrate the ability to:
- Design the electronics for instrumentation type devices, from
the power supply circuits to low level, stable and low noise signal
amplifiers.
- Have experience with embedded software development.
- Design digital circuits; from microprocessor circuits to
different digital interface ports like USB, RS485, H1, FSK,
etc.
- Take products from idea to manufacturing using Design for
manufacturing techniques. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
- Have a demonstrated track record of completing project within
budget and on time. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSAs the
ideal candidate you will have the following education, prior
experience and skills:
- BSEE 5 or more years of progressive work experience in a
leadership role overseeingdesignanalog, digital circuits and some
embedded software, or MSEE with 3-5 years of progressive
supervisory experience overseeingdesignanalog and digital circuits
and some experience in designing embedded software.
- Strong Knowledge of circuit and software design tools for the
development of embedded application.
- Able to design products that can be manufactured with
multiple-configuration options.
- Solid experience in the design of serial communication
interfaces such as USB and RS485.
- Solid experience in preparing manufacturing work instructions,
and excellent documentation skills.
- Experience of rigorous attention to detail with focus on
robustness, cost efficiency and quality of products.
- Strong passion for working with technology and must have the
excitement for creating high quality complex process control
instruments.
- Experience with the use of schematics and drawings, perform
modifications and complete rework to new and used subassemblies and
circuit analysis programs.
- Able to use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, system
analyzers and in-circuit emulators.
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Hands on use of lab test equipment.
- Strong ability to inspire and motivate stakeholders
includingcross functional groups.
- Ability to provide mentoring and assistance to the new
engineers.
