Job DescriptionWe're looking for a highly driven office manager to lead our administrative staff. You'll be in charge of overseeing office operations, streamlining systems, and ensuring our administrative support is accurately following office policies. The ideal candidate is an organized and efficient leader who loves motivating and encouraging others to do their best work. • Lead office management including day-to-day operations, directing administrative assistants, and other secretarial duties
• Streamline office systems including organizing filing systems, ordering office supplies, maintaining office equipment, scheduling team member meetings, and optimizing the organizational budget
• Carry out other human resources tasks and office administration duties when necessary
• Communicate with third-party vendors, contractors, service providers and customers as a representative of our organization
• Optimize office policies and procedures to meet internal needs while upholding our business standards
  • Process weekly payroll via Gusto
  • Process and submit certified payrolls
  • Process release request
  • Support field team with PO request
  • Complete and submit vendor applications
  • Work directly with Estimating and Project management teams
  • Maintain up to date information and information management
  • Work directly with the President of the company with updates on initiativesQualifications:
    • Displays strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
    • 2+ years of management experience strongly preferred
    • Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office
    • Must have graduated high school, received a G.E.D. or equivalent
      • 2+ of construction office experience preferred
      • Knowledge of Davis Bacon wages and certified payroll preferred
      • General knowledge of accounting basics highly preferredAbout CompanySphere Mechanical is an HVAC Mechanical Contractor based out of San Diego, California who performs work on various military bases in Southern California.
