Job Description:
Position Summary The Director, Learning and Organizational
Development champions the TrueCare Organizational Strategy and
Culture by initiating, designing, and implementing programs to
align the work force and key organizational initiatives. The
position will manage and improve upon exciting training solutions,
leverage best practices in leaning and innovation in
approaches/technology. The position works closely with HR Business
Partners with in TrueCare in identifying individual, group, and
organizational development opportunities by defining, developing,
implementing, and evaluating strategies and programs to drive
business goals and prioritize forward. This position reports to VP,
Human Resources.Essential Functions In collaboration with the VP,
Human Resources serves as an organizational leader and support to
management in the identification, development, and implementation
of employee strategies that enhance the overall TrueCare culture.
Assists Senior leadership in development of plans for implementing
work force organizational effectiveness initiatives. Participates
in the identification, development, and deployment of competency
and accountability models to be used throughout various
organizational programs related to employee development and
engagement. Develops and manages employee performance management
programs aligned with key organizational goals and expectations.
Provides Leadership and Supervisor Development programming,
education and Leadership coaching on professional growth and
organizational strategy alignment to ensure all leaders and
potential leaders have the necessary skills to succeed. Leads the
development and implementation of succession planning programs in
collaboration with the VP, Human Resources and SLT. Provides
leadership to TrueCare on organization-wide education efforts,
including, new employee orientation programming and standardized
department education processes/systems. Identify and assess the
training needs of the organization through learning analysis,
career paths and consultation with leaders. Design, develop and
facilitate multi-platform content to support targeted learning and
change efforts using best practices in change management and
communication (e.g., learning programs, manuals, program guides,
tool kits, and reference aids). Works with SMEs to identify content
and designs learning solutions that are engaging, interactive and
achieves results. Develops curriculum for various roles and
positions and defines a strategy for delivering the curriculum
whether it's through "off the shelf" courseware or custom
courseware. Utilizes various learning methods such instructor lead
(both synchronous and asynchronous), e-learning,
simulations.Evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions on an
ongoing basisEvaluates instructor performance and the effectiveness
of training programs regularly utilizing survey results to identify
areas of improvement.Manages employee surveys such as: employee
satisfaction and engagement survey, culture of patient safety
survey. Manages the distribution, collection, analysis, and action
planning process to ensure the achievement of a best place to work
environment.Coaches' leaders to effectively work with their
teams.Serves as a leader and catalyst for supporting the
organization's diversity goals and initiatives.Drive brand values
and philosophy through all training and development
activities.Participate in the PET and Quality /Safety
Committees.Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational
Behavior, Human Resources or a related field required, Master's
Degree preferred. Five years' (5) experience working in a Human
Resources Leadership Role, preferably in healthcare, including
accountabilities for Organizational Development, Leadership
Development and Education required. Excellent presentation skills,
coaching skills, and ability to motivate others to achieve
excellence at work. Understanding and experience working with adult
learning needs. Proven experience in training design. Exceptionally
strong change management, proven communications skills, the ability
to work in a team environment, strong relationship management,
project management, organizational skills, and the ability to
prioritize when competing needs exceed resources. Strong
leadership, facilitation, interpersonal, team building,
written/verbal communication, and conflict resolution skills. Must
be able to work independently and collaboratively while handling a
high volume of tasks in multiple areas. Must be highly organized
and detail oriented. Always maintain excellent internal and
external customer service. Maintain the highest degree of
confidentiality possible when performing the functions of this
department. Nice to have Master's Degree Certified Health Education
Specialist (CHES) Experience in virtual training. Licenses Valid
California Driver's LicenseProof of valid insurance and clean
