be the best version of itself.About this JobYou will be an expert
in managing product from testing to mass production. You will be
talking to our overseas manufacturers to ensure that products meet
all requirements. You will also be collaborating with the team
internally to get all product information required for product
launch. You will oversee our Product Engineers and Test
Engineers.Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of
innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the
company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering
department, ensuring projects are completed on time and within
budget.
- Product Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to
ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer
expectations.
- Implement best practices for testing and validating new
products to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.
- Continuously monitor and improve product quality through
feedback and analysis.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction in existing products
without compromising quality or performance.
- Implement cost-down projects and track their impact on overall
product cost and profitability.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and manufacturing teams to
optimize production processes and material usage.
- New Product Development:
- Work closely with PMs to develop and launch new products,
providing technical guidance and support throughout the product
development lifecycle.
- Ensure new products are designed for manufacturability,
scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and
competitive products to inform and guide new product
development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales,
and customer service, to ensure seamless product launches and
customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between
engineering and other departments to support company-wide
initiatives and goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the
engineering team, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new
technologies and methodologies.
- Implement and maintain metrics to track engineering performance
and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or Electromechanical Systems Engineering Technology is
preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with
multiple ongoing projects.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills at a supervisory
level.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in understanding technical concepts, reading
schematics, and providing design recommendations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and adeptness in utilizing
equipment such as DMM, Oscilloscope, as well as DC & AC Power
Supply design.
- Quick learner, responsible, proactive, problem-solver, and
critical-thinker.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations, be receptive to
feedback, and comfortable providing constructive feedback to
