Job Description:
Job Description Job Description We have an immediate opportunity
for a Senior Estimator for the Los Angeles area. This individual
will be responsible for reviewing the details of the plans,
preparing the estimates, supporting the project manager and the
vendors for Water Treatment projects. Duties and Responsibilities
Cost estimating, continued data analysis and make recommendations
Progressive Design Build delivery experience Ability to provide
technical direction as required Prepare cost schedule Experience
preparing cost and schedule product for the proposals or contract
negotiations Perform and review methodology for quantity takeoff
from design drawings Provide detailed pricing for labor rates and
other direct costs to include basis and assumption documentation
denoting rationale, inclusions and exclusions Knowledge and ability
to develop analysis for project cash models and the time value of
money as the cost of working capital correlating scheduled
activities and costs Support training as needed Excellent verbal
and written communication skills Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or
related field 6 years or more experience as a construction
estimator with significant experience with water treatment projects
Advance knowledge of construction estimating concepts and
construction scheduling Heavy civil and utilities experience and
working with large projects $100M or more HCSS bid software is
required Experience with PlanSwift is desired Experience working
with and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
