Team: The Casting Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting
performer-related processes across various productions, including
domestic and international projects. This position requires
meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and
the ability to manage sensitive information while ensuring
compliance with industry standards and studio policies. As a member
of the corporate team at Disney, you will work with world-class
leaders driving the strategies that keep The Walt Disney Company at
the leading edge of entertainment. What You Will Do: As a Casting
Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth
execution of performer agreements and compliance with studio and
guild policies. This role is vital in maintaining the integrity and
efficiency of the casting process, ensuring that all legal and
administrative requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have
strong organizational and communication skills, attention to
detail, and the ability to work independently. Liaison with Studio
and casting director for hiring of actors domestically and
internationally, managing permissions, documentation, and
governmental issues. Approval of all performer deals, including
Actors, Stunts, Dancers, Voice-over, Singers, and Puppeteers. Work
with primary and location Productions teams to ensure understanding
of Studio and Guild policies in connection with the hiring of
performers. Provide all necessary documentation, including
performer contracts templates, start paperwork, Minor’s documents,
timesheets, and status lists. Liaison with the Studio Labor
department regarding any guild issues that may arise. Work closely
with Studio Legal to update contract templates for individual
productions. Draft casting director’s agreements, both domestic and
international, for signatures and execution. Draft and distribute
all Performer agreements for signatures and execution, managing
documentation, contract re-wording, and labor issues. Ensure that
all deals are finalized and agreements are signed prior to any
performer rendering services. Double-check, confirm, and submit all
performer credits to Credit and Title Administration. Ensure all
Productions have followed all studio-legal and guild protocols in
connection with the hiring and services of all performers. Liaise
with other Disney executives, producers, Casting Executives, and
other assistants internally and externally. Track guarantees (time,
money, etc.) in connection with performer agreements. Represent the
department in a professional manner. Support studio projects as
needed. Required Qualifications & Skills: At least 3 years’
experience at a Studio, Casting Agency, Production Company,
Literary Agency, or Talent Agency. Demonstrated organizational
skills. Superior attention to detail. Ability to successfully
coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent
communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong computer
literacy and working proficiency/ knowledge of Adobe and MS Office.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions,
and change course of action quickly. Detail-oriented with the
ability to work well and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills. Effective
communicator, both verbally and written. Ability to work with
confidential information. Positive attitude and the ability to be
proactive, resourceful, and flexible. Strong people skills,
including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with TV or Film
Productions or with a Casting Agency or Studio. Strong
relationships and network within the Casting community, Studios
community, or Guilds for TV and/or films. Knowledge of performer
guild agreements such as SAG-AFTRA and Pact Equity. Knowledge of
SAP Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
CORP_MEDIA twdcmedia The hiring range for this position in Burbank,
CA is $65,300.00 to $87,500.00 per year based on a 40-hour work
week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on
business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into
account internal equity and also may vary depending on the
candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive
units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in
addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other
